Housing

The Redwood City Catholic Worker runs a home for teens, and along with the Multicultural Institute, runs two residences for Day Laborers. Over the years the Redwood City Catholic Worker has been able (with massive help from our supporters and from Philanthropic Ventures Foundation) to establish Catholic Worker houses in San Bruno, South San Francisco, Brisbane, and Half Moon Bay. These homes daily house approximately 41 homeless guests.

We are looking for a house or money to buy a house so that young disciples (married or single) can live and do the work of the gospel in new Catholic Worker houses. If you are able to help with this effort, please contact Larry (650) 366-4415.

The Catholic Worker house is not a 501 (c) 3, we are a not-for-profit home. Tax exempt donations can be made through Philanthropic Ventures Foundation in the form of donor designated gifts.
