Surplus Goods Programs

Ashley Murphy, Program Associate for Philanthropic Ventures Foundation, visited the Catholic Worker to meet Larry Purcell and to see the house and hear about the projects. Part of the Surplus Goods Program is the distribution of sleeping bags and socks. The sleeping bags and socks that are donated to the house are shared with the Catholic Workers in Half Moon Bay, and with the Catholic Workers in Brisbane. Many people are sleeping outside in Redwood City,
